Jeff is a native of Virginia Beach, VA where he grew up in a Christian home and gave his life to Jesus Christ as a senior in high school. Following high school, he attended Liberty University and within his first year sensed God's call to full-time ministry. He graduated from Liberty with a Bachelor of Science in pastoral ministry and then moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend The Master's Seminary, graduating in 1998 with a Master of Divinity. While in seminary, he met and married his wife Judy.
After completing his seminary training, Jeff moved to Arkansas to be the children's pastor at The Bible Church of Little Rock. He served there as associate pastor for 11 years, during which time he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from The Master's Seminary. He and his wife's six children were born during their time in Arkansas.
In 2009, Jeff received a call to come be the senior pastor of Anchorage Grace Church and so he and Judy packed up their household and with kids in tow went North to Alaska. Jeff is beginning his fourteenth year preaching and pastoring in Alaska at AGC. In addition to his responsibilities as preaching pastor, Jeff is also the dean of The Master's Seminary Alaska distance location, where he teaches classes on preaching and pastoral ministry. He is a certified counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, author the book Illuminated Preaching, and his weekly sermons are broadcast through Voice for Christ radio to twenty-five villages throughout bush Alaska.
