Old Testament Class

The Old Testament fellowship group began in Fall 2013 when AGC first transitioned from a two-service model to holding a single corporate worship service at 10:30 a.m. and "Equipping Classes" meeting during the 9:00 a.m. hour. The class focused specifically on studying the Old Testament Scriptures and related topics, with a particular thorough and academic leaning. Over the years, the topics have expanded to include broader theological themes and even New Testament books. But the original foundation of the Old Testament remains in the backdrop throughout. In the summer of 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic, AGC returned to a two-service model but maintained its equipping classes. These classes transformed into "Fellowship Groups" which met during either the early or late service, with a focus not only on Bible study but also on prayer, worship, and community. The Old Testament group has become a close-knit group committed to singing, praying, and studying the Word of God together.

Below is a description of each teaching series we've explored since the beginning of the Old Testament class, along with a link which will take you to a separate series page so you can download notes and audio for each lesson in the series.
