We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry of God’s Word.
We worship a holy and majestic God, who has saved us and enabled us through Christ to approach Him. As a church, we strive to reflect the transcendence of God in our worship. In the end, worship is about Christ, not about us.
The Bible is God’s revelation to us about the person and work of Jesus Christ. We recognize that it is God’s perfect and enduring Word. Everything we do as a church reflects the centrality of the Word to save and sanctify.
The gospel unites believers together in true community. As a church, we try to promote that unity in love and truth. We are committed to fostering true biblical fellowship by promoting an overarching participation in the salvation we all share.
The church’s mission is to make disciples of all the nations. We bring the gospel to the lost. But we also work to integrate believers into the life of the local church where they can grow into mature disciples.
Worship in the Round
1st Sunday of Month
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
The church is a community of people who are connected by more than common interests. We are a family, adopted as brothers and sisters by one Father. We are a flock, guided, fed, and protected by one Shepherd. We are a body, growing together, connected to each other under one Head. We are a church.
At Anchorage Grace, we recognize that the Christian life was never meant to be lived out alone. We need each other, especially in light of the business of today’s culture. We strive to find ways to meet together regularly for encouragement, strength, accountability, and hope.
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15
The church has the responsibility not only to teach the Word but to train up others to teach and lead as well. Paul’s words to Timothy make this clear: “What you have learned from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
Anchorage Grace Church is committed to training up the next generation of teachers and leaders in the church. Our training programs span a full spectrum of life and ministry. Grace Christian School is a K-12 school which is devoted to educating students in an integrity driven culture to be biblical disciples and college ready scholars. The Institute for Church Leadership is designed to train lay leaders for effective ministry in the local church. For men who are called into full-time ministry, our partnership with The Master’s Seminary offers graduate-level training to equip them for pastoral ministry.
