fellowship groups

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

The Bible gives two specific reasons for committing to be part of a close-knit family of believers—that we would be encouraged, and that we would encourage others. God designed the church to be the place where we receive and give accountability to persevere in our faith amid a darkening culture; with this powerful goal in mind, the Bible calls believers to love, encourage, and stimulate one another to good works until Christ returns. This mandate is what drives Adult Fellowship Groups at Grace Church.

 Young Adult

Sundays | 9:00 a.m. | ROOM 221
Current Study:
Genesis

The Young Adult class is a relatively new and growing group of men and women ranging from college age to early thirties. It includes singles and married couples all interested in forming deeper relationships on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. It's not uncommon for the Young Adult group to schedule evening events and weekday get-togethers to connect outside the church building. Sunday morning gatherings include a time of worship and an interactive study in Scripture.

Old Testament

Sundays | 8:30 a.m. | AGC Chapel
Current Study:
Jonah

The Old Testament fellowship group began in 2013 as an Equipping Class focused on studying the Old Testament Scriptures. It's since become a close-knit fellowship group committed to singing, praying, and studying the Word of God together. Don't let the name fool you—we study more than just the Old Testament. Past studies include A Survey of the Old Testament, the Book of Leviticus, the Doctrine of Scripture, the Prophecies of Zechariah, Biblical Eschatology, and the Epistle to the Ephesians.

Current Study:
Forerunners of the Faith

The Sound Doctrine class has its beginnings as an Equipping Class focused on the Fundamentals of the Faith curriculum. Since then, it's grown to become a fellowship group heavily committed to group prayer and studying Scripture with a particular focus on how God's Word intersects with life and culture.

Family Life

Sundays | 10:30 a.m. | GCS Library
Current Study:
Exodus

Family Life is one of our oldest classes, dating back to 2013 with the launch of our equipping class ministry. Now a fellowship group, it continues in the tradition of those early years as a group devoted to the practical matters of family life. Married couples and singles will both find this class a close-knit and engaging study in the Word with a focus on growing as husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters.
