Our distinctives

Transcendent Worship

We worship a holy and majestic God, who has saved us and enabled us through Christ to approach Him. As a church, we strive to reflect the transcendence of God in our worship. In the end, worship is about Christ, not about us.

Expository Preaching

The Bible is God’s revelation to us about the person and work of Jesus Christ. We recognize that it is God’s perfect and enduring Word. Everything we do as a church reflects the centrality of the Word to save and sanctify.

Building Community

The gospel unites believers together in true community. As a church, we try to promote that unity in love and truth. We are committed to fostering true biblical fellowship by promoting an overarching participation in the salvation we all share.

Making Disciples

The church’s mission is to make disciples of all the nations. We bring the gospel to the lost. But we also work to integrate believers into the life of the local church where they can grow into mature disciples.

OUR VALUES

In pursuit of our mission and vision, AGC's Elders commit to lead with uncompromising...

Integrity

"Let what you say be simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything more than this comes from evil" (Matthew 5:37).

Excellence

"Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ" (Colossians 3:23-24).

Humility

"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves" (Philippians 2:3).

Unity

"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment" (1 Corinthians 1:10).
